The Protestor Witch's carmen

The Protestor Witch's carmen

We draw up power
We answer blood
We stand like steel
We rise like dust

We howl with fury
We stand with force
We cut their rivers
We stop the flow

We turn the wheel
We sharpen the blade
We bring about Justice
The debts be paid

We blaze our power
We Protect our own
We conjure the Ancestors
With our blood and bones

We pull the anguish
From the streets
We call to the blood
Beneath our feet

We know no silence
We are for the Dead
We are their fire
We are their dread

Like lightning strikes
We flash and surge
We bring the whirlwind
We will be heard

We blot out the lies
We light up with truth
We stop the vandals
We lace tight our boots

We chant the names
We hold the signs
We remember the warnings
Of the fire next time

No wave will turn us
We are a sea
No harm shall stop us
So mote it be

Stop using Dr. King's ghost

Pulling out Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. as some sort of ultimate template for societal change is the tool of the ignorant? Nah.

There could have been no change nationwide for the dove's policy without the equal presence of the raptors. There were MULTIPLE activists during that time, and the fact that you focus only on him shows that you're only interested in listening to dead leaders who let themselves be bloodied, stabbed, and beaten without defending themselves. That means that that's what secretly gets you off, seeing more suffering of the oppressed being the crucible you require for access to humanity.

It ain't just Christians, either. Almost half a century of programming has taught you how to couch all those inconvenient psychological disguises for your bigotry. Grouping your hate by political affiliations, slurs, regions, and more is a tool. You've learned from your forebears and friends how to imply without losing the veneer of deniability when called out for baiting and sweeping prejudicial diatribes. It's all smokescreens.

Those screens mean nothing. The fires of your zealous ,and perverse, need to glorify the actions of the brutalizers of Dr. King as the underground narrative of your dreams is clear.  When you pull out his images and quotes like some demonic talisman, clutching your pearls and giving guns to your footsoldiers with a wink, you fail to realize it only reveals the hypocrites and cowards of conscience you are. You don't give a teaspoon of a damm about humans in oppression who share his struggle. You just want to make sure you're not inconvenienced internationally to the point that the economy could be affected.

Why do I say this? Because it was the economy that was the keystone in centuries of propaganda to ensure a class division for a permanent enslaved, and later, underclass without a voice.

Get that man's ghost off your lips. Spirits attract other spirits. You ain't ready for the ones already being unleashed.
